From yardage to yarn

I started sewing with my moms scraps of fabric when I was a wee bit of a girl. I soon graduated to doll clothes. Costumes were next. I absolutely adore period clothing and started making "garb" for going to the Renaissance festival in college. As I made more outfits my sewing skills continued to improve.

I have slowly moved away from patterns and started designing my own clothing based mainly on fashion of times past. I opened my etsy shop in 2011 and in 2012 was asked to take part in a RAW artists fashion show.

I love finding old lace, buttons, and other vintage odds and ends to incorporate it in my designs. I'm always coming up with new ideas, clothing and other wise. Please stop back for more fun things are coming soon.

embrace the lace,
